Making Strides - Rhoda McVey has over 45 years of horse riding experience and completed her BHSAI in August 2000.  This is now called the BHS CCH (Coach in Complete Horsemanship). Rhoda also has UKCC Level 2. Rhoda takes her own Professional Development seriously and regularly attends refresher days and online training. Rhoda has been Disclosure checked.

In April 2010, Rhoda was awarded the BHS Equine Tourism Centre Manager certificate, which is equivalent in status to the BHSI Stable Manager's Certificate and was an examiner for the British Horse Society until recently when other commitments took priority.

She has a BA in Economics and Administration; 22 years experience in the commercial property world and as a senior manager in the voluntary sector give her a unique outlook. She has been running activity holidays for young people since 1981, both professionally and as a volunteer with Scripture Union Scotland.

In August 2009, Rhoda won the British TREC Championships (L2) at West Linton on her own horse, Making Strides Fizzical Presence (pictured above right competing at dressage and at the beach (image by Kris Clay) and was shortlisted for the GB team for the World Championships in Portugal in September 2012.
